A partner built at the eye-level of founders, industrials, and investors of the built environment.
The thesis behind Scintilla
Scintilla was conceived for a precise moment. The transformation of the built environment is simultaneously industrial, climatic, financial, and technological. No existing institution is structured to address it in its entirety.
Consulting firms operate at the surface. Venture studios operate without sectoral depth. Public actors operate without venture agility. And the industrial ecosystem remains cut off from the signal flow forming across the United States and Europe.
Scintilla was built as a bridge, integrated by method, operator by temperament.
Scintilla operates from Paris, but its signals come from a wider network: specialized European funds, industrial operators, sector forums, public institutions. It is the density of that network, more than headcount, that defines the practice.

Andra Stanciu
Drawing on a background that combines building technology, innovation, and investment, Andra Stanciu works on the technological and operational transformations of the construction sector. She is a construction tech investor at Hometeam Ventures and the founder of Scintilla.
She works with startups, investors, industrials, and ecosystem actors on the transformation of construction, housing, infrastructure, and industrial technologies. Her practice combines sector intelligence, venture access, applied innovation, and ecosystem development across Europe and the United States.
At Hometeam Ventures, she contributes to research, sourcing, and investment analysis on technologies transforming construction and housing. Through this work, she has assessed more than 2,500 startups across industrialized construction, applied AI, building data, energy, retrofit, robotics, supply chain, and infrastructure.
Her background blends architecture, economics, innovation, and venture capital, with particular attention to decarbonation, industrialization, technology adoption, and industrial sovereignty within the built environment. She is also part of the expert networks mobilized around European initiatives tied to the Green Deal and sustainable transition strategies.
Andra contributes actively to several international ecosystems dedicated to construction, climate, and innovation. She serves as moderator, speaker, jury member, or strategic partner at events and platforms such as Contech Connect, Smart City Expo World Congress, Tomorrow.Building, Supernovas (EIT), and several European initiatives related to housing, urban innovation, and the transformation of the built sector.
